1. Be Ready for Anything

2. Packing

3. Pack Light

4. Never Panic
You should see this as a key part of your survival. You should try to be collected or at least cooler than others who may be stranded with you and, provided you have adhered to the other three steps, you should be.
5. Water
As The SAS Survival Guide states, we can survive for three weeks without food but only for three days without water. If you brought your water bottle and condoms, this is the time to use them. You’ll proabably have to find shade and look for water as the sun is going down because keeping movement to a minimum is important for maintaining liquids. Don’t breathe through your mouth, don’t smoke or drink alcohol as these all use up vital fluids.
6. Eating
You’ll need protein if you select to move and this can best be found in meat. It would be a good idea to have prior experience of the local animal and plant life. In the bush, you’ll probably find yourself swallowing insects and cutting leftover meat from wild carcasses. According to survivalist Bear Grylls, however, you must make sure meat is safe to eat by looking at the color of the bones and whether or not there are any vultures nearby. If the bones have been brightened by the sun or the meat smells old, keep moving. Have it raw if it’s fresh as there’ll be more protein in it.
7. Fire
You should make a fire to keep you warm at dusk, use matches or flint and a striker if you can access them. For tinder, try using Old Man’s Beard or a similar dry plant. 8. Shelter
Finding shelter is important, particularly from the midday sun. You should try to make some cover using plants and whatever cloth you can muster if the environment doesn’t provide any natural places. Covering yourself from the elements is important and it can even aid your morale.
9. Signals
For this reason, you brought that mirror. Reflected in the correct direction, the very hot bush sun can allow you to signal for help, keeping you alive. You can create a great deal of smoke to make signals by covering your flame in live or ‘wet’ branches.
10. Moving
